So tonight I finished this skirt, my first wearable project I managed to make without mom. I cut all the pieces out last night and sewed it up tonight. It was a quick project and after the beginning it was an easy pattern to follow. The skirt cost me $13 including fabric, zipper, and pattern.
I can't wait to start my next project! I picked up another skirt pattern the same day, maybe I can scrounge up some time for it this weekend.

Favorite baby beanie
I went through a phase where I was obsessed with sock weight yarn. So soft, beautiful colors, and take a nice long time to knit up. After several projects I had leftover yarn but not enough for any one project so I went looking for a project that could use my leftovers. I found the absolute cutest baby beanie pattern on ravelry and decided to use slip stitching to easily make a cute pattern. This beanie looks like it would only fit a premie but it easily stretches to twice its size. I love the colors.
